Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

i. Preparing income and expenditure statements;

ii. Preparing revenue collection reports;

iii. Receiving government revenue and depositing it into the bank on time;

iv. Conducting bank reconciliations and other financial reconciliations;

v. Examining payment vouchers;

vi. Performing any other duties related to the profession as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Applicants must have Form Six education with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Business majoring in Accounting, or an Advanced Diploma in Accountancy from a recognized institution, together with a professional accounting qualification CPA (T) or equivalent qualification recognized by NBAA.

Dental Therapist Grade II (10 Posts)

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

i. Performing all duties carried out by an Assistant Dental Officer;

ii. Diagnosing and treating common diseases;

iii. Supervising the performance of staff under his/her responsibility and performing minor surgical procedures;

iv. Participating in planning and implementation of Primary Health Care services;

v. Advising and encouraging citizens to contribute to Community Health Fund services;

vi. Maintaining records of equipment and instruments used for service delivery;

vii. Keeping records, preparing and submitting implementation reports;

viii. Performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Applicants must have a Diploma in Clinical Dentistry from a recognized Government institution and must be registered with the Medical Council/Relevant Professional Board.

General Conditions

  1. All applicants must be citizens of the United Republic of Tanzania and must not be above 45 years of age. However, for positions under Military Institutions:
    • Applicants for non-degree positions must not exceed 25 years of age.
    • Applicants for degree positions must not exceed 30 years of age.

  6. Testimonials, provisional results, statements of results, and Form IV and Form VI result slips will not be accepted.
  7. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure their certificates are verified and approved by the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTVET). Applicants for cadres requiring GPA who studied outside Tanzania must attach a GPA conversion certificate from TCU.
  8. Applicants who have retired from the Public Service are not allowed to apply unless they have approval from the Chief Secretary.
  9. Submission of false information or forged qualifications will lead to legal action.
  10. The deadline for submitting job applications is 26 June 2026.
