Salary: £17,334.20 per annum plus excellent benefits
Working Hours: Part-time, 25 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 12:30 PM – 5:30 PM

About the Role

As a Domestic Monitoring Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring hospital environments meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance. Your work will support patient care, staff wellbeing, and a safe environment for visitors.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out scheduled and unannounced audits across hospital wards and departments.
  • Monitoring compliance with infection control procedures and cleanliness standards.
  • Assessing service-level agreements and operational performance.
  • Recording inspection activities accurately using FM First systems.
  • Producing detailed reports outlining findings, trends, and corrective actions.
  • Following up on non-conformances and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Providing guidance and support to teams on compliance requirements and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Candidates should possess:

  • Experience in auditing, monitoring, or compliance activities.
  • Previous healthcare sector experience is desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple audits and deadlines effectively.
