Tembo Nickel Corporation (“Tembo”) is an operating company established under a Framework Agreement dated 19 January 2021 between Kabanga Nickel Limited and the Government of Tanzania for the development of the Kabanga Nickel Project in Ngara District, North-Western Tanzania. The company is owned 84% by Kabanga Nickel Limited and 16% by the Government of Tanzania and is responsible for mining and processing nickel, copper, and cobalt.

The Kabanga Project is a fully integrated greenfield development focused on producing nickel, copper, and cobalt products for the global market. It is one of the world’s largest undeveloped high-grade nickel sulphide deposits and is strategically important in supporting the global transition to a low-carbon economy. The project is expected to deliver significant economic and social benefits to Tanzania while supplying critical minerals to global markets.

The Kabanga Mine, concentrator, and related infrastructure will be located at the Kabanga site, where nickel sulphide concentrate will be produced.
