Key Responsibilities
– Receive and process customer payments (cash, mobile money, bank transfers, etc.)
– Issue receipts and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded
– Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and cash reports
– Reconcile cash collected with sales records and system reports
– Maintain proper filing of financial documents and receipts
– Assist in basic bookkeeping and updating financial records
– Support stock and sales reconciliation when required
– Handle customer inquiries related to payments professionally
– Report any discrepancies or financial issues to management promptly

Required Qualifications for Volunteer Cashier Opportunity at TMHS Group
– Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration (Accounting), or any related field
– Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial record keeping
– Previous experience as a cashier or in a finance/accounts role will be an added advantage
– Proficiency in using POS systems and basic computer applications (MS Excel, Word)
– Good communication skills in both Swahili and English
– Must be a Tanzanian
– Willingness to work on a voluntary basis
– High level of integrity, accuracy, and accountability
– Ability to work under minimal supervision and handle pressure
