About Sense International Tanzania (SIT)
Sense International Tanzania is a registered Non-Governmental Organization operating under Registration No. 00NGO/R1/00523. The organization is part of Sense International, a UK-registered charity dedicated to supporting people with deafblindness and multiple disabilities in resource-limited settings. Since 2008, Sense International Tanzania has been implementing impactful programmes focusing on:
- Early Identification and Intervention
- Inclusive Education
- Livelihood Improvement for Persons with Deafblindness and Multiple Sensory Impairments
Through its partnership with Temeke Municipal Council, the organization seeks to improve access to quality rehabilitation and support services for children with disabilities
