THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF SONGEA DISTRICT COUNCIL
announces to all qualified Tanzanians the availability of nine (09) job vacancies in this Council, following the approval received from the President’s Office, Public Service Management and Good Governance.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
i. All applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged between 18 and 45 years.
ii. Applicants with disabilities are highly encouraged to apply. They should submit their applications through the system designed for people with disabilities to ensure their information reaches the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat.
iii. All applicants must attach a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) with a current address, working phone numbers, email address, and the names and addresses of three referees who can be trusted.
iv. All applications must be accompanied by certified copies of academic and professional certificates, verified by a Lawyer/Advocate. These include:
- Certificates of Form IV and Form VI,
- Diploma/Certificates,
- Computer Certificate, and
- Professional Certificates related to the position applied for.
⚠️ Note: “Testimonials,” “Provisional Results,” or “Statements of Results” will not be accepted. Only official certificates verified by relevant authorities such as TCU, NECTA, or NACTE will be recognized.
v. Applicants employed in the Public Service must route their applications through their respective employers; otherwise, their applications will not be considered.
vi. Applicants for the Driver II post must attach their driving certificates showing they possess the required qualifications and driving classes.
vii. Submission of false information or forged qualifications will result in legal action against the applicant.
viii. The deadline for submitting applications is 18th November 2025.
