The Secretary of the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS), on behalf of MDAs and LGAs,
invites job applications from qualified and capable Tanzanians to fill 17,710 positions as specified in this announcement.

GENERAL CONDITIONS - Nafasi 17710 za Kazi Kutoka MDAs & LGAs 

1. All applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged not more than 45 years, except for those who are already employed in the Public Service.

2. Applicants with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply and should clearly indicate the type of disability they have in the recruitment application system for the information of the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat.

3. All applicants must attach a detailed and up-to-date Curriculum Vitae (C.V) with reliable addresses, phone numbers, and the names of three reliable referees.

4. All applicants must attach a certified copy of their birth certificate certified by a Lawyer/Advocate.

5. Applicants who are currently employed in the Public Service should not apply, and they must adhere to the directives contained in Circular No. CAC.45/257/01/D/140 dated 30th November 2010.

6. All applications must be accompanied by academic certificates and transcripts, certified copies by a Lawyer/Advocate of the following documents:

   • Birth Certificate

   • Certificate of Secondary Education (Form IV)

   • Certificate of Advanced Secondary Education (Form VI) (for those who have attained that level)

   • Certificates of completion of various training programs based on the job requirements:

     • Postgraduate/Degree/Advanced Diploma/Diploma/Certificates

     • Computer Certificate

     • Professional Certificates (from respective professional boards)

7. Testimonials, Provisional Results, Statements of Results, and Form IV & Form VI Results Slips will NOT be accepted.

8. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure that their certificates have been verified and approved by the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTE).

9. Retired public servants are not allowed to apply unless they have permission from the Chief Secretary.

10. Submission of false information or forged certificates will lead to legal action.

11. The deadline for submitting job applications is 29th October 2025.

12. Remember to attach your signed application letter along with academic certificates. The letter should be addressed to:
