Executive Driver Job Vacancy at Kilombero
The successful candidate will be responsible to transport Executives in a timely, safe, and effective manner.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
1. Drive Executives to meetings, conferences, social engagements, and other events as requested.
2. Ensure the vehicle is clean and in proper working order.
3. Inspect the vehicle before daily use.
4. Handle day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle, including checking oil, water, battery, brakes, tires, fire extinguisher, reflectors, and service schedule.
5. Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
6. Report any vehicle concerns in a timely manner.
7. Follow all safety and vehicle safety requirements.
8. Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
9. Follow company car driving policy and National Road Regulations.
10. Participate in regular safety meetings, safety training, and hazard assessments.
11. Perform any other duties as assigned.
Job Qualification and Experience
1. Advanced Certificate (VIP) / Diploma in Driving Course from a recognized institution.
2. Executive Drivers Course from the National Institute of Transportation (NIT).
3. Valid Class A, B, C, and D Driver’s License.
4. Minimum of 5 years’ driving experience on public roads, preferably with LDVs.
5. Clean Police Clearance Report.
6. Military or Police training (an added advantage).
7. Good knowledge of Tanzania Driving Regulations.
8. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
