Kigoma District Council Interview Schedule 2026: Important Instructions for Job Applicants
The Executive Director of Kigoma District Council wishes to inform all job applicants that interviews are scheduled to take place from 23 June 2026 to 24 June 2026. Successful candidates will subsequently be assigned to their respective work stations. All shortlisted applicants are advised to carefully follow the interview guidelines and requirements outlined below.
Key Interview Requirements
- Interviews will be conducted on the dates, times, and venues specified for each job category.
- Every candidate must report to the interview venue wearing a face mask.
- Applicants must present a valid identification document for verification. Accepted IDs include a National ID, Voter ID, Employee ID, Citizenship ID, Passport, Driving License, or an introduction letter from the local government authority of their residence.
- Candidates must bring original certificates and academic documents, including Birth Certificate, Form IV, Form VI, Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Degree, and any other qualifications relevant to the position applied for.
- Testimonials, Provisional Results, Statements of Results, Form IV Result Slips, and Form VI Result Slips will not be accepted. Applicants presenting such documents will not be allowed to continue with the interview process.
- Candidates applying for professions regulated by professional boards must present original registration certificates and valid practicing licenses.
- All interview expenses, including transport, accommodation, and meals, shall be covered by the applicants themselves. Candidates are also expected to dress appropriately and professionally.
- Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure their certificates have been verified and approved by the relevant authorities such as TCU, NACTVET, or NECTA. Positions requiring GPA qualifications must be supported by an official GPA conversion certificate from TCU.
- Applicants who have not been shortlisted should log in to their Ajira Portal accounts to view the reasons for their exclusion and improve future applications.
- All shortlisted candidates should log in to their Ajira Portal accounts and copy their interview numbers. Those taking online screening interviews must remember their registered email addresses and passwords.
- Candidates whose names differ across official documents must present a registered Deed Poll issued through the Ministry of Lands.
- All applicants are reminded that giving or receiving bribes for employment opportunities is strictly prohibited. The recruitment process is based on fairness, transparency, equal opportunity, and merit according to the qualifications stated in the job advertisement and public service regulations.
