Manager, PwC Private Generalist, PwC US Tax LLP, Los Angeles, CA. Help companies with a range of business advisory needs such as audit, tax compliance, and planning to help improve their operational efficiency. Oversee the development, design and implementation of personal and customized service plans that are unique to privately owned entities, entrepreneurs, and high net worth individuals. Analyze tax efficiencies of income tax, investment, insurance and risk, and other lifestyle investment planning to establish a foundation for financial longevity. Supervise and coach teams.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Salary: $142,000 – $168,000/yr.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Tax, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Tax, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience.

Certification(s) required: U.S. CPA or foreign equivalent.

Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:

  • Participating in all aspects of audit activities including audit planning, control evaluation, substantive audit testing, and work paper documentation for clients;
  • Performing detailed testing procedures on a variety of financial statement line items, including cash, accounts receivable, fixed asset, inventory, accounts payable, accrued liabilities, deferred revenue, revenue, and expenses;
  • Managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections;
  • Analyzing large and complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools and;
  • Utilizing U.S. GAAP, U.S. GAAS, or Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards.

50% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.

Domestic and/or International travel up to 20% is required.
