The Prime Minister’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government (PO-TAMISEMI), in collaboration with Educate! Tanzania, has officially announced 400 contract (volunteer) teaching vacancies for Business Studies in secondary schools across selected regions.

Eligible Regions
The vacancies are distributed across secondary schools with high teacher demand in the following regions:
- Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Manyara, Simiyu, Kagera, Geita, Tabora, Dodoma, Morogoro, Pwani, and Dar es Salaam.
Requirements & Qualifications
According to section 2.0 and 3.0 of the official notice, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Academic Qualifications: Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution in any of the following fields:
- Bachelor of Education in Business Studies / Business Education
- Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
- Bachelor of Economics / Bachelor of Arts in Economics
- Other Business-Related Fields
- Basic Business Knowledge: Core knowledge of business concepts (teaching experience is not mandatory).
- Computer Literacy: Basic computer skills for teaching and learning purposes.
- General Conditions:
- Must be a Tanzanian citizen aged 42 years or below.
- Must possess a National Identification Number (NIDA).
- Must not be currently employed by the government or any other institution.
