Job Title: Records Officer Grade II – UNGUJA – 1 Post
Responsibilities
- Managing the movement of files among different officers.
- Ensuring the safety and proper storage of files.
- Recording outgoing and incoming external correspondence in the register.
- Opening new files for correspondence.
- Supervising and ensuring cleanliness and security of the registry.
- Returning processed files to the appropriate shelves.
- Writing addresses on envelopes for postal delivery.
- Preparing an index of files.
- Archiving closed files for future reference.
- Preparing work performance reports including quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports.
- Performing other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Must be a Zanzibari aged not more than forty-six (46) years.
- Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Records Management and Archives or a related field in Information/Data Management from a recognized institution by the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar.
