East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) Internship Announcement – Tanzania
The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) Internship Program 2026 presents an exciting opportunity for university students in Tanzania to gain practical industry experience within one of the largest energy infrastructure projects in East Africa. Designed to nurture young professionals, the internship program provides hands-on exposure across several departments while allowing interns to develop practical skills, professional networks, and industry knowledge.
First, interns will gain real-world experience working alongside experienced professionals involved in the development of a major international oil export pipeline. Moreover, the program emphasizes professional growth, technical learning, and meaningful participation in the energy sector. Consequently, students who participate will not only enhance their academic knowledge but also strengthen their career prospects in a competitive job market.
Available Internship Positions
The internship opportunities are available across several departments:
1. Corporate Affairs
- Number of Interns: 1
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
2. Legal & Compliance
- Number of Interns: 1
- Qualification: Pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or a Master’s degree in Law.
3. Local Content
- Number of Interns: 1
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Community Development, or related discipline with strong data management and Excel skills.
4. Finance
- Number of Interns: 1
- Qualification: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
5. Projects (Project Controls)
- Number of Interns: 1
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration or Human Resource Management.
6. HSE – Environment
- Number of Interns: 1
- Qualification: Degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Must be fluent in English (written and spoken).
7. Field Operations Logistics (FOPS)
- Number of Interns: 1
- Qualification: Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Customs, or Warehouse Management.
8. Social & Economic Investment
- Number of Interns: 1
- Qualification: Degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Sociology, or Development Studies.
9. Human Resources
- Number of Interns: 1
- Qualification: Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration
Internship Duration
The internship program will run from July 1 to September 30, 2026.
