Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre (KCMC) is located in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. Established in March 1971 by the Good Samaritan Foundation, KCMC is a zonal referral hospital serving over 15 million people in Northern Tanzania. The hospital has more than 600 beds and over 1000 staff, offering healthcare, teaching, and research services.
Available Positions
1. Nursing Officer II (10 Positions)
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing, registered with the Nurses and Midwifery Council of Tanzania with a valid license.
- Provide health education to patients and relatives
- Ensure prescribed instructions are followed
- Supervise nursing staff and maintain standards
- Teach students and support healthcare teams
- Maintain hospital inventory and patient records
Salary Scale: TGHS C
2. Assistant Nursing Officer II (20 Positions)
Qualifications: Diploma in Nursing, registered with the Nurses and Midwifery Council of Tanzania.
- Deliver quality nursing care to patients
- Assist patients and relatives
- Maintain records and inventory
- Participate in research and training
- Support staff and maintain discipline
Salary Scale: TGHS B
General Conditions
- Applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged not above 45 years
