Call for Interview at Udsm University
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) wishes to inform all job applicants that interviews are expected to start from 05-12-2025, and interview successful candidates will be assigned to their respective work stations. Candidates called for the interview should observe the following instructions:
1. The interview will take place from the date indicated in this announcement, and the time and location for the interview have been specified for each category.
2. Each candidate is required to attend the interview wearing a mask. Every candidate must have an identification document for verification.
Acceptable IDs include: National ID, Voter’s ID, Work ID, Passport, Driver’s License, or an identification letter from the local Government (Ward/Village) where the candidate comes from.
3. Candidates are required to bring their original certificates, starting from Birth Certificate, Form IV, Form VI, Diploma, Bachelor’s degree, Postgraduate Diploma, Master’s degree, and beyond, depending on the qualifications required for the position.
4. Candidates who submit testimonials, provisional results, or statement of results, as well as Form IV and Form VI result slips, will not be accepted and will not be allowed to proceed with the interview.
5. For categories requiring registration with professional boards, candidates must bring their original registration certificates along with a valid license to practice.
6. Each candidate is responsible for their own food, transport, and accommodation. Additionally, candidates must attend the interview in clean and decent attire according to the dress code circular.
7. Candidates who studied outside Tanzania must ensure their certificates are verified and authenticated by the relevant authorities (e.g., TCU, NACTVET, or NECTA). Candidates in categories requiring GPA must submit a GPA calculation certificate from TCU.
8. Candidates whose names do not appear in this announcement should log in to their Ajira Portal account to see the reasons for not being called, so they do not miss future opportunities.
9. All candidates called for the interview must log in to their account and note their interview number. Candidates taking the online screening interview must remember the email address and password used in the Ajira Portal system.
10. Candidates whose names differ on their documents must submit a Deed Poll for Name Change, registered with the Ministry of Lands.
