Duties and Responsibilities
1. Store remaining essential medicines properly.
2. Compound and prepare medications for patients.
3. Provide guidance on the proper use of medicines.
4. Dispense drugs according to the doctor’s prescriptions.
5. Maintain records of drug distribution and usage.
6. Prepare estimates for required medicines and medical supplies.
7. Supervise staff under their responsibility.
8. Offer advice on the correct and safe use of medicines.
9. Prepare periodic reports on drug distribution.
10. Write performance reports, including quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports.
11. Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
1. Must be a Zanzibari citizen aged not more than 46 years.
2. Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an institution recognized by the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar.
