Duties and Responsibilites
1. Plan, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control (IPC) programs within the hospital.
2. Conduct regular inspections to ensure hygiene and safety standards are maintained.
3. Provide training to healthcare workers on infection control, hand hygiene, and waste disposal.
4. Lead outbreak investigations and ensure prompt response measures are taken.
5. Prepare IPC reports and submit them to hospital management and the Ministry of Health.
Qualifications
1. Must be a Zanzibari citizen aged not more than 46 years.
2. Must hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from an institution recognized by the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar.
