The Executive Director of Malinyi District Council has received approval for new employment under the staffing plan for the 2024/2025 financial year from the Permanent Secretary, President’s Office – Public Service Management and Good Governance, through Ref. No. FA.97/288/01/A/25 dated 29/04/2025.
Therefore, all qualified Tanzanians are hereby invited to apply for the following job positions:
Driver Grade II - POST 3 | New Job Vacancies Driver Grade II at Malinyi District Council
Qualifications of the Applicant (Sifa ya Mwombaji):
- Must possess a Certificate of Secondary Education (Form IV).
- Must have a valid Class E or C driving license.
- Must have at least one (1) year of driving experience without causing any accidents.
- Must have relevant training certificates that qualified them to obtain the respective driving license class.
- Must have attended a Basic Driving Course from VETA or another government-recognized institution.
Duties and Responsibilities:
i. Inspecting the vehicle before and after trips to determine its safety condition.
ii. Transporting staff to various destinations for official duties.
iii. Performing minor vehicle maintenance.
iv. Collecting and delivering various documents.
v. Recording and keeping all trip information in the logbook.
vi. Cleaning the vehicle.
vii. Performing any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
