Interview Announcement – Kaliua District Council
The Executive Director of Kaliua District Council wishes to inform all job applicants who applied for various positions that interviews are expected to be conducted from 23 June 2026 to 26 June 2026. Successful candidates after the interview process will be appointed and assigned to their respective work stations.
All candidates invited for the interview are required to follow the instructions below:
Interview Instructions
- The interview will be conducted from the date indicated in this announcement. The interview time and venue are provided for each respective cadre.
- Every candidate must arrive at the interview venue wearing a face mask.
- Each candidate must carry an identification document for verification. Accepted identification documents include:
- Resident Identity Card
- Voter’s ID Card
- Employment ID Card
- National Identity Card
- Passport
- Driving Licence
- Introduction letter from the Local Government Authority (Street/Village)
- All candidates must bring their original certificates, including:
- Birth certificate
- Form IV certificate
- Form VI certificate
- Certificate/Diploma
- Advanced Diploma
- Degree and other relevant qualifications depending on the position applied for.
- Testimonials, provisional results, statement of results, and Form IV/Form VI result slips will not be accepted. Candidates presenting these documents will not be allowed to continue with the interview.
- Candidates whose professions require registration with professional boards must bring their original registration certificates and valid practicing licences.
- Each candidate will be responsible for their own food, transport, and accommodation expenses. Candidates must attend the interview dressed in smart and decent clothing according to public service dress guidelines.
- Candidates who studied outside Tanzania must ensure their certificates have been verified and approved by relevant authorities such as TCU, NACTVET, or NECTA. Candidates applying for positions requiring GPA who studied outside Tanzania must provide a GPA conversion certificate from TCU.
- Candidates who do not see their names on the interview list should log into their Ajira Portal accounts to check the reasons for not being shortlisted, to avoid missing future opportunities.
- All shortlisted candidates should log into their accounts and copy their interview numbers. Candidates attending online screening interviews should remember their Ajira Portal email address and password.
- Candidates whose names differ across their documents must submit a registered Deed Poll (Change of Name Certificate) issued through the relevant authorities.
- All job applicants are reminded that giving or receiving bribes for the purpose of obtaining employment or being assigned a work station is strictly prohibited. The recruitment process follows the principles of fairness, equality, and transparency based on the required qualifications and public service procedures.
