Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
i. Preparing requirements and usage plans for medicines and medical supplies;
ii. Ordering, storing, and distributing medicines and medical supplies within the assigned work area;
iii. Preparing reports on the use of medicines and medical supplies;
iv. Maintaining records of medicines and medical supplies;
v. Performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor that are related to the candidate’s education, experience, and skills.
Qualifications
Applicants must have a Certificate/Diploma (Astashahada) in Pharmacy from a recognized Government institution and must be registered with the Pharmacy Council/Board.

- All applicants must be citizens of the United Republic of Tanzania and must not be above 45 years of age. However, for positions under Military Institutions:
- Applicants for non-degree positions must not exceed 25 years of age.
- Applicants for degree positions must not exceed 30 years of age.

- Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure their certificates are verified and approved by the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTVET). Applicants for cadres requiring GPA who studied outside Tanzania must attach a GPA conversion certificate from TCU.
- Applicants who have retired from the Public Service are not allowed to apply unless they have approval from the Chief Secretary.
- Submission of false information or forged qualifications will lead to legal action.
