The Secretary of the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat, on behalf of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) and Local Government Authorities (LGAs), invites applications from qualified and capable Tanzanian citizens to fill 95 vacant positions.
General Conditions – JOB Vacancies MDAs AND LGAs
- All applicants must be citizens of the United Republic of Tanzania and must not be above 45 years of age. However, for positions under Military Institutions:
- Applicants for non-degree positions must not exceed 25 years of age.
- Applicants for degree positions must not exceed 30 years of age.
- Applicants with disabilities are encouraged to apply and should indicate their disability in the recruitment system for information to the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat.
- All applicants must attach a birth certificate certified by a Lawyer/Advocate.
- Job applicants who are already employed in the Public Service should not apply and must follow the instructions provided in Circular No. CAC45/257/01/D/140 dated 30 November 2010.
- All applications must be accompanied by academic certificates, details, and certified copies of certificates by a Lawyer/Advocate, including:
- Birth certificate
- Certificates for various training programmes according to the requirements of the respective position:
- Postgraduate
- Degree
- Advanced Diploma
- Diploma
- Certificates
- Professional certificates from respective boards.
- Testimonials, provisional results, statements of results, and Form IV and Form VI result slips will not be accepted.
- Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure their certificates have been verified and approved by the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTVET). Applicants for cadres requiring GPA who studied outside Tanzania must attach a GPA conversion certificate from TCU.
- Applicants who have retired from the Public Service are not allowed to apply unless they have approval from the Chief Secretary.
- Submission of false information or forged qualifications will lead to legal action.
- The deadline for submitting job applications is 26 June 2026.
