NJOMBE REGIONAL REFERRAL HOSPITAL ADVERTISEMENT FOR CONTRACT JOB VACANCIES
The Medical Officer in Charge of Njombe Regional Referral Hospital wishes to announce to all qualified and interested Tanzanians regarding contract job opportunities as listed below:
1. ASSISTANT NURSING OFFICER GRADE II (NURSE II) – 05 POSTS
a) Qualifications:
- Holders of a Diploma in Nursing from a government-recognized institution and registered with the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council (TNMC).
b) Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care services.
- Collect essential health data.
- Supervise junior nursing staff.
- Educate patients and the community on health issues.
- Provide preventive and reproductive health services.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor based on education, experience, and skills.
2. RECORDS ASSISTANT GRADE II – 02 POSTS
a) Qualifications:
- Holders of a Diploma in Records Management from a government-recognized institution.
b) Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming and outgoing documents and file them.
- Retrieve required records/files for users.
- Analyze, list, and arrange records in groups according to the subject for office use.
- Store/arrange records in racks/cabinets/storage rooms.
- File documents (letters, certificates, etc.).
- Prevent loss of documents and ensure they are not released to unauthorized persons.
3. HEALTH ATTENDANT (INCINERATOR BUILDING) – 01 POST
a) Qualifications:
- Must be a Tanzanian citizen not exceeding 45 years of age.
- Must have a Secondary Education level
b) Duties and Responsibilities:
- Incinerate all waste produced at the hospital.
- Maintain and inspect the incinerator before and after use.
- Clean the incinerator building.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on incinerated waste.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR ALL APPLICANTS
i) Must be no older than 35 years and in good health.
ii) Attach a CV with a correct address, phone number, and names of two referees (who are government employees) with their reachable phone numbers.
iii) Two recommendation letters with correct addresses and phone numbers.
iv) Must have relevant Professional Certificates. “Provisional Results” or statements of results ARE NOT ACCEPTED.
v) Applicants who studied abroad must have their certificates verified by TCU or NECTA.
vi) Attach certified copies of the following:
- Birth Certificate.
- Form IV (O-Level) Certificate.
- Form VI (A-Level) Certificate (if applicable).
- Professional Certificates.
- License from relevant professional boards.
- Computer Certificate.
