The Municipal Director of Geita Municipal Council invites job applications from qualified and competent Tanzanians to fill 15 vacant positions.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
- All applicants must be citizens of the United Republic of Tanzania and must not exceed 45 years of age. However, for positions within Military Institutions:
- Applicants for non-degree positions must not exceed 25 years of age.
- Applicants for degree positions must not exceed 30 years of age.
- Applicants with disabilities are encouraged to apply and should clearly indicate their disability in the recruitment system for notification to the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat.
- All applicants must attach a birth certificate that has been certified by an Advocate/Lawyer.
- Applicants who are currently employed in the Public Service should NOT apply and must adhere to the instructions outlined in Circular No. CAC45/257/01/D/140 dated 30 November 2010.
- All applications must be accompanied by certified copies of academic certificates and transcripts relevant to the position applied for, including:
- Postgraduate/Degree/Advanced Diploma/Diploma/Certificates
- Professional certificates from respective boards
- Testimonials, provisional results, statements of results, and Form IV and Form VI result slips will NOT be accepted.
- Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure their certificates are verified and approved by the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTVET). Applicants for positions requiring a GPA who studied abroad must also attach a GPA equivalence certificate from TCU.
- Applicants who have been retired from Public Service are not allowed to apply unless they have permission from the Chief Secretary.
- Submission of false information or forged qualifications will result in legal action being taken against the applicant.
