Yanga’s New Stadium Project
The new Yanga stadium is expected to be completed within a period of 18 to 24 months, following the official announcement of the project’s commencement at the Jangwani area in the city of Dar es Salaam.
Speaking today, Friday, May 15, 2026, during the project’s signing ceremony, Yanga President Hersi Said stated that the construction of the stadium will elevate the club’s status and serve as a new landmark for sports development in the country.
“Fellow members of Yanga, very soon your club will have a stadium right here in this area (Jangwani). God willing, in a maximum of 18 to 24 months, we will stand here to inaugurate this modern stadium,” said Hersi.
