
The Deputy Vice Chancellor of Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) wishes to inform all job applicants that interviews are expected to be conducted starting from 25/02/2026, after which successful candidates will be assigned to their respective work stations.
Applicants called for interviews must observe the following instructions:
- The interview will be conducted on the dates indicated in this announcement. The time and venue for each interview are specified according to each cadre.
- Every candidate must report to the interview venue wearing a face mask.
- Each candidate must bring an identification document for verification.
Acceptable IDs include: National ID, Voter’s ID, Employee ID, Citizenship ID, Passport, Driver’s License, or an introduction letter from the Local Government (Street/Village) of residence. - Candidates must bring their ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES, starting from Birth Certificate, Form IV, Form VI, Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Degree and above, depending on the qualifications required for the respective position.
- Candidates who present Testimonials, Provisional Results, Statement of Results, Form IV and Form VI result slips WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED and will not be allowed to proceed with the interview.
- For cadres requiring registration with Professional Boards, candidates must bring their original Registration Certificates together with valid practicing Licenses.
- Each candidate will bear their own costs for food, transport, and accommodation. All candidates must attend the interview in neat and decent attire in accordance with the official dress code guidelines.
- Candidates who studied outside Tanzania must ensure their certificates are verified and approved by the relevant authorities (such as TCU, NACTVET, or NECTA). Candidates in cadres requiring a GPA who studied outside Tanzania must submit a GPA equivalency certificate issued by TCU.
- Applicants who do not see their names in this announcement should log into their Ajira Portal accounts to check the reasons for not being shortlisted so as not to miss future opportunities.
- All shortlisted candidates must log into their accounts and copy their interview number. Candidates who will sit for the screening interview online must remember the email address and password used to log into the Ajira Portal system.
- Candidates whose names differ across their documents must submit a registered Deed Poll (Affidavit of Name Change) issued by the Ministry of Lands.
