Call for Interview Open University of Tanzania 2026 (OUT)
The Vice Chancellor of the The Open University of Tanzania (OUT) would like to inform all job applicants who applied for various positions that interviews are scheduled to be conducted from 21st February 2026 to 24th February 2026. Successful candidates will later be assigned to their respective work stations.
All shortlisted candidates are required to observe the following instructions:
- Interviews will be conducted on the dates indicated in this announcement. The specific time and venue for each cadre have been specified accordingly.
- Every candidate must report to the interview venue wearing a face mask.

Each candidate must present a valid identification document for verification.
Acceptable IDs include:
- National ID
- Voter’s ID
- Work ID
- Citizenship ID
- Passport
- Driving License
- Introduction letter from Local Government (Street/Village Office)

Candidates must bring ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES, including:
- Birth Certificate
- Form IV Certificate
- Form VI Certificate
- Certificate
- Diploma
- Advanced Diploma
- Degree and any other relevant qualification depending on the position applied for
- Candidates who present Testimonials, Provisional Results, Statement of Results, Form IV and Form VI result slips WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED and will not be allowed to proceed with the interview.
- For cadres requiring professional board registration, candidates must present their ORIGINAL registration certificates together with valid practicing licenses.
- Each candidate will be responsible for their own meals, transport, and accommodation. Candidates must attend the interview dressed neatly and decently in accordance with the official dress code guidelines.
- Candidates who studied outside Tanzania must ensure their certificates have been verified and approved by the relevant authorities (such as TCU, NACTVET, or NECTA). Those whose cadres require a GPA and studied outside Tanzania must present a GPA equivalency certificate from TCU.
- Applicants who do not see their names in this announcement are advised to log into their Ajira Portal accounts to check the reasons for not being shortlisted in order to improve their chances in future applications.
- All shortlisted candidates must log into their Ajira Portal accounts and copy their interview number. Candidates who will undertake online screening interviews must remember their email addresses and passwords used in the Ajira Portal system.
- Candidates whose names differ across their documents must present a registered Deed Poll (Change of Name Affidavit) officially registered by the Ministry of Lands.
