TANGAZO LA KAZI - DAKTARI DARAJA LA II (MEDICAL OFFICER GRADE II) - Nafasi 1201
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Perform all hospital medical duties related to various diseases, including pediatric illnesses, maternal health issues, and both routine and emergency surgeries.
2. Provide and oversee health education as well as promote community health within the district, region, or assigned area of work.
3. Examine, monitor, and prevent disease outbreaks.
4. Maintain and utilize health statistics as guided by the Health Management Information System (MTUHA) principles.
5. Plan and evaluate health services within the area of responsibility.
6. Teach students and staff working in the area of assignment.
7. Supervise and guide subordinate employees.
8. Design and conduct research and disseminate findings.
9. Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of healthcare services within the profession.
10. Prepare plans and budget estimates for health services.
11. Participate in, verify, and enhance health services through medical audit and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications of the Applicant
Applicants must hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from a recognized University or Institution, have completed their internship, and possess a registration certificate from the Medical Council of Tanganyika (MCT).
