Kitengule Hospital is seeking a qualified and experienced Hospital Patron to join its healthcare leadership team. The Hospital Patron is a senior nursing leadership position responsible for overseeing nursing services, patient care standards, nursing discipline, and coordination of nursing operations across the hospital.

The successful candidate will provide strong leadership, guidance, and supervision to nursing staff while ensuring the delivery of safe, compassionate, efficient, and high-quality healthcare services. Key Responsibilities of Hospital Patron at Kitengule Hospital

Nursing Leadership and Supervision

Provide overall leadership and supervision of nursing services across all hospital departments.
Ensure compliance with nursing standards, policies, procedures, and professional ethics.
Monitor nursing performance and support continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Mentor and guide nursing staff to achieve excellence in patient care.
Promote professionalism, accountability, and discipline among nursing personnel.

Patient Care and Quality Assurance

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants for the Hospital Patron position at Kitengule Hospital must meet the following requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing) or Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
Valid registration and practicing license from the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council (TNMC).
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive nursing experience.
At least three (3) years’ experience in nursing supervision or leadership roles.
Experience in hospital nursing management and patient care coordination.
Ability to communicate effectively in English and Kiswahili.
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Computer literacy with ability to prepare reports and presentations.

Added advantage: Postgraduate qualification in Nursing Management, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Services Management, or related fields.
