Position Objective

The Senior Manager Product will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing structured product bundles and customer value propositions tailored to different customer segments. The role focuses on:

  • Driving revenue growth and maintaining a healthy balance sheet.
  • Managing the full product lifecycle from development and pricing to launch and post-implementation review.
  • Optimizing customer experience through digital finance solutions and user-centered product design.
  • Defining product roadmaps and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver value-driven banking products.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  1. Monitor and track performance of existing retail banking products and services.
  2. Identify automation and digitization opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase revenue.
  3. Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports for management and board meetings.
  4. Develop compelling customer value propositions within the Retail Banking space.
  5. Define and manage the product and solution roadmap with relevant stakeholders.
  6. Lead the product development lifecycle for digital finance products and services.
  7. Drive monetization initiatives for digital solutions to increase product uptake and channel usage.
  8. Analyze customer data to identify behaviors, trends, and opportunities for new product features.
  9. Coordinate project meetings, testing, approvals, pilots, and product launches.
  10. Improve customer experience metrics, engagement, retention, and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
  11. Develop and implement product processes and standards to ensure superior customer propositions.
  12. Lead business initiatives and campaigns to improve product performance.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must have:

  • A Master’s Degree in Banking, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Accountancy, Finance, Entrepreneurship, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
  • At least 16 years of working experience in mortgage finance, retail lending, or related banking fields.
  • Experience working with technology-driven financial products and digital banking solutions.
  • Experience working in cross-functional project teams.
  • Strong communication skills to engage both technology and business teams effectively.
  • Knowledge of product management methodologies, emerging technologies, and big data platforms.
  • Self-motivation, innovation, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
