Overview
The Tanzania People’s Defence Forces (TPDF) is officially announcing recruitment spots for Tanzanian youth. This opportunity is open to individuals with education levels ranging from Secondary School (Form IV and VI) to Higher Education graduates.
Applicant Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a Tanzanian citizen by birth.
- Age Limits:
- Up to 25 years for Form IV and Form VI graduates.
- Up to 28 years for Higher Education graduates.
- Health: Must be in excellent physical and mental health.
- Conduct: Must have high moral standing and no criminal record.
- Education: Must possess original birth and academic certificates.
- JKT Requirement: Must have completed JKT training (2-year volunteer or by Law) and possess a certificate.
How to Apply
Applications must be handwritten and submitted between April 15, 2026, and April 28, 2026. Applications should be delivered to the Army Headquarters in Msalato, Dodoma.

- Copies of all academic certificates and birth certificate.
- Copy of JKT completion certificate.
