Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be expected to perform a range of duties, including:
- Providing anesthesia services during surgical procedures
- Conducting pre-operative patient assessments
- Monitoring and managing patients during surgery
- Identifying the type of surgical procedures and required anesthesia
- Delivering post-operative care to patients
- Managing pain for patients, including emergency cases
- Participating in emergency services such as resuscitation and critical care
- Operating and maintaining anesthesia and oxygen equipment
- Ensuring patient safety by following medical guidelines and proper drug usage
- Performing any additional duties assigned by supervisors
Qualifications Required
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a recognized certificate or qualification in Anesthesia from an accredited institution
- Be registered with relevant professional bodies (where applicable)
- Demonstrate competence and professionalism in healthcare service delivery
General Requirements for Applicants
All applicants must:
- Be Tanzanian citizens aged between 18 and 45 years
- Submit certified copies of academic and professional certificates
- Attach a birth certificate
- Provide a detailed CV with contact information and three referees
- Include two recent passport-size photographs
- Be ready to work in any assigned location as required by the employer
- Demonstrate good conduct and discipline
