DEREVA DARAJA II (DRIVER II)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect the vehicle before and after trips to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Transport staff to various locations for official duties.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Record and maintain details of all trips in the vehicle logbook.
- Collect and distribute various documents.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle.
Qualifications
Applicants must have a Form IV (Ordinary Level) Certificate and a valid Class E or C Driving License, with at least one (1) year of driving experience without causing an accident. They must also possess training certificates that qualify them for the respective license classes. In addition, they should have completed a Basic Driving Course offered by (VETA) or any other government-recognized institution.
MSAIDIZI WA KUMBUKUMBU DARAJA LA II (RECORDS MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT II)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Record incoming correspondence in the incoming correspondence register.
- Record outgoing correspondence in the outgoing correspondence register.
- Distribute files to Action Officers.
- Receive files from Action Officers.
- Receive files returned to the registry from Action Officers.
- Return files to the racks/filing cabinets or other designated storage areas.
- Track the movement of files within the institution (file tracking).
Qualifications
The applicant must have completed Form IV (Ordinary Level) or Form VI (Advanced Level) education and hold a Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Records Management from a government-recognized institution. The candidate must also possess computer skills.
MWANDISHI MWENDESHA OFISI DARAJA LA II (OFFICE MANAGEMENT SECRETARY GRADE II)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Type letters, reports, and both routine and confidential documents.
- Receive visitors, listen to their concerns, and direct them to where they can receive assistance.
- Maintain records of events, appointments, meeting dates, official trips of their supervisor, and other work schedules.
- Retrieve files and documents required for the execution of work duties.
- Receive files and distribute them to officers in the respective Department/Unit/Section.
- Collect, maintain, and return files and documents to the relevant offices.
- Prepare meeting briefs and make arrangements for various meetings.
- Prepare a list of office supply requirements.
- Perform any other duties assigned by their supervisor.
Qualifications
Applicants must be Form Four or Form Six graduates with a Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Secretarial Studies. In addition, they must have passed the Kiswahili and English shorthand (hatimkato) test at a speed of 80 words per minute (80 w.p.m).
They must also have received training in office computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, E-mail, and Publisher from any government-recognized institution.
