Role Overview

SFTZ is seeking a qualified consultant to design a participatory enterprise and microfinance curriculum tailored to Maasai youth and women involved in restoration-linked seed and forage enterprises. The curriculum will help participants build practical business skills, strengthen their financial literacy, and reinforce sustainable rangeland management practices.

Scope of Work

The consultant will develop a practical, field-ready curriculum that enables participants to:

Expected Deliverables

  • Structured training curriculum with detailed session plans and facilitator guide

  • Suggested monitoring indicators for enterprise growth

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in enterprise development, microfinance, or VSLA programming
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences (Master’s preferred)
  • Experience working with rural and/or pastoralist communities
  • Strong skills in participatory curriculum design
