The Government of Tanzania has issued guidelines for volunteering in the public service for various professions including Health, Education, and Engineering.
In these guidelines, the Ministry emphasized that volunteers working in public institutions will receive an allowance of 250,000. There will also be various seminars, and participants will receive additional allowances for attending them.
The Ministry also strongly emphasized that all individuals who get volunteering opportunities must follow public service procedures and regulations. These procedures will be explained by the employer to help avoid different challenges during implementation.
