POSITION: Production Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Rigid Pack
BUSINESS UNIT: GSM Beverages
REPORTS TO: Production Manager
Responsible for implementing and supervising all production related modules and principles for a smooth running of the Rigid Packaging manufacturing processes. (Preforms, Caps etc.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Plan and supervise daily production activities based on demand and stock levels.
2. Work closely with the Quality Assurance and Control teams to maintain product quality standards.
3. Coordinate collection and usage of raw materials in liaison with the Stores department.
4. Monitor production efficiency, yields, and waste to ensure cost-effective operations.
5. Prepare and ensure timely submission of daily production reports.
6. Enforce adherence to GMPs, safety standards, and company policies.
7. Ensure proper maintenance of machines and coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive servicing.
8. Supervise and motivate the production team to achieve performance targets.

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Diploma or Degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Production Management, Quality Management, or related technical field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in preform manufacturing.
3. Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
4. Proficient in computer applications and production reporting systems.
5. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
