New Employment: 1,200 Health and Education Jobs if Dr. Samia Continues to Receive Mandate
Presidential candidate under the Chama cha Mapinduzi (CCM) ticket, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, has pledged that if she continues to receive the mandate to lead the country in the General Election scheduled for October 29, 2025, her government will employ 5,000 new health sector workers and 7,000 new education sector workers within 100 days.
Dr. Samia made this statement on September 11, 2025, during a campaign rally held at Uyui Ward Grounds, Ilolanguru Village, Uyui District, Tabora Region. In her speech, she emphasized that these recruitments aim to improve the welfare of the Health and Education sectors and create more employment opportunities for Tanzanians.
Importance of These Jobs:
-
Health sector positions will help reduce the shortage of healthcare workers in hospitals, health centers, and dispensaries nationwide, improving access to quality healthcare, especially in rural areas.
-
Education sector positions will bring in 7,000 new teachers, helping to address teacher shortages in schools. This initiative aims to improve student performance and enhance teaching and learning environments.
