The Executive Director of Nanyumbu District Council, through the new employment permit with reference number FA.97/228/01/A/25 dated 29th April, 2025, which authorizes the recruitment of Office Management Secretary Grade II (4 positions) and Driver Grade II (5 positions) from the Permanent Secretary of the President’s Office – Public Service Management and Good Governance, hereby announces job vacancies.
The Executive Director invites applications from qualified Tanzanian citizens to fill the following vacancies as detailed below:
1. DRIVER GRADE II - 5 POSTS
2. OFFICE MANAGEMENT SECRETARY GRADE II (4 POSTS) - MWANDISHI MWENDESHA OFISI DARAJA II (NAFASI 04)
SOME OF GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR JOB APPLICANTS
i. All applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged between 18 and 45 years.
ii. Applicants with disabilities are encouraged to apply and should clearly indicate their type of disability in the job application system for the attention of the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat.
iii. All applicants must attach a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) that includes a functional postal address, reliable phone numbers, an active email address, and the names of three trustworthy referees.
iv. Applicants must also attach a detailed CV containing reliable contact details and the names of three credible referees.
v. All applications must be accompanied by certified copies of academic and professional certificates, verified by a Lawyer/Advocate. These include certificates of completion for various levels of education relevant to the job applied for, such as Postgraduate/Degree/Advanced Diploma/Diploma/Certificates; Form IV and Form VI examination certificates; Computer certificates; and Professional certificates from relevant professional boards.
vi. Testimonials, provisional results, statements of results, and Form IV and Form VI results slips will not be accepted.
vii. Applicants applying for the position of Driver II who hold a Class E or C driving license must attach certificates of driving training that qualified them for those license classes.
viii. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure that their certificates are verified and approved by the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTE).
ix. Retired public servants are not allowed to apply unless they have official approval from the Chief Secretary.
