About the Role
Azam Marine is seeking a highly organized and experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth coordination of marine logistics, fleet scheduling, inventory management, and timely delivery of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor all logistics operations, including marine transport and cargo handling.
- Manage fleet scheduling, route planning, and fuel efficiency.
- Oversee inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety, maritime, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to streamline operations.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Prepare reports on logistics performance and costs.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in the maritime or transport industry.
- Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Abilities: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Technical: Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office.
- Added Advantage: Knowledge of local and international shipping regulations.
