GENERAL CONDITIONS

1. All applicants must be citizens of the United Republic of Tanzania and must not exceed 45 years of age. However, for positions within Military Institutions:

   • Applicants for non-degree positions must not exceed 25 years of age.
   • Applicants for degree positions must not exceed 30 years of age.

2. Applicants with disabilities are encouraged to apply and must clearly indicate their type of disability in the recruitment application system for the information of the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat.

3. All applicants must attach a birth certificate certified by an Advocate/Attorney.

4. Applicants who are currently employed in the Public Service SHOULD NOT APPLY and must adhere to the instructions outlined in circular number CAC45/257/01/D/140 dated 30th November 2010.

5. All applications must be accompanied by academic certificates, transcripts, and certified copies by an Advocate/Attorney. These include:

   • Postgraduate/Degree/Advanced Diploma/Diploma/Certificates.
   • Professional certificates from respective boards.

6. “Testimonials,” “Provisional Results,” “Statement of Results,” and Form IV and Form VI results slips WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

7. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure their certificates are verified and approved by the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTVET). For applicants whose positions require a GPA and who studied abroad, a GPA verification certificate from TCU must be attached.

8. Applicants who have retired from the Public Service are not allowed to apply unless they have written permission from the Chief Secretary.

9. Submission of false information or forged qualifications will lead to legal action.

10. The deadline for submitting job applications is 23 December 2025.
