Branch Operations Officer at LOLC Tanzania

Key Responsibilities
1. Branch Operations and Compliance Management: Provide oversight of daily branch operations, ensuring full compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and established operational controls.
2. Customer Service Excellence and Client Relations: Deliver and maintain high standards of customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly, supporting customer needs, and ensuring timely payment reminders to minimize default risks.
3. Loan Processing and Transaction Oversight: Support the end-to-end processing of loan applications and ensure accurate and timely management of all branch transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan disbursements.
4. Financial Reporting and Record Management: Prepare, maintain, and reconcile financial records and statements, while contributing to the preparation of performance reports and analysis of key branch metrics.
5. Team Collaboration and Operational Enhancement: Work collaboratively with branch staff to streamline workflows, strengthen operational efficiency, and promote continuous improvement in branch performance.
Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Banking and Finance.
2. Experience: 1-2 years of experience as an accountant, with a strong understanding of financial processes.
Skills
Proven experience in customer service, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software.
Advantage: Previous experience in a microfinance institution or bank is a significant advantage.
