The Director of Mtwara Municipal Council invites qualified Tanzanian citizens to apply for twelve (12) job vacancies in this Council, following the approval granted by the President’s Office.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. All applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged not more than 45 years.
2. Applicants must attach a Birth Certificate.
3. Applicants must attach a detailed Curriculum Vitae (C.V) containing reliable contact information, including addresses, active phone numbers, and names of trustworthy referees.
4. All applicants must attach copies of academic certificates, Form IV and Form VI certificates (for those who have attained that level), and certificates of completion of relevant training according to the qualifications required for the specific job as indicated in the Ajira Portal.
5. Testimonials, Provisional Results, Statements of Results, and Form IV & VI result slips will NOT be accepted.
6. Applicants for the Driver II position with Category E or C driving licenses must attach driving training certificates that qualified them for those license categories.
7. All applicants must upload a recent passport-size photograph on the Ajira Portal page.
8. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure their certificates are verified and recognized by the relevant authorities, i.e., TCU, NECTA, and NACTE.
9. Retired public servants are not allowed to apply, unless they have official permission from the Chief Secretary.
10. Applicants who are already employed in entry-level positions within the Public Service should not apply, and must adhere to the instructions provided in the Circular Ref. No. CAC.45/257/01/D/140 dated 30th November, 2010.
11. Submission of false information or forged documents will lead to legal action against the involved parties.
12. The deadline for submitting applications is 20th November, 2025.
