Upon arriving at the assigned interview center, there will be an exercise to verify your academic certificates along with your identification (NIDA, Voter Card, or an identification letter from your street or village).

3. Exercise of Preparing Lesson Notes

After the verification of certificates and receiving initial instructions, all interviewees will be given time to prepare lesson notes. Here, you will be provided with paper containing instructions to choose a topic of your choice and prepare notes which you will present to the panel.

4. Types of Questions Asked

After the time for preparing notes ends, the notes you prepared will be collected. Then you will be given instructions about the room where you will attend the oral interview. The types of questions asked in interviews conducted in the early months were:

  • The first question was to introduce yourself (Tell Us about Yourself).
  • After answering the introduction question, you will be given 10 minutes to present/teach the topic you prepared. Ensure you explain well and treat the panel as your students.
  • After presenting your notes or the topic you prepared, you will be asked one question from the subject you teach or are being interviewed for. The question can come from any topic and any level; if you completed Form Six, you may be asked a question from Form Six topics (only one question).
