The Director of Arusha City Council invites qualified Tanzanian citizens to apply for job vacancies within the Council, following the approval granted by the President’s Office – Public Service Management and Good Governance, as detailed in the breakdown below:
Dereve Daraja II - Nafasi 6DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip to ensure its safety condition.
ii. Transport staff to various destinations for official duties.
iii. Perform minor repairs and maintenance on the vehicle.
iv. Collect and deliver various documents.
v. Record and maintain trip details in the vehicle logbook.
vi. Clean and maintain the vehicle’s cleanliness.
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
Applicants must have a Certificate of Secondary Education (Form IV) and a valid Class E or C driving license, with at least one (1) year of accident-free driving experience. They must also possess training certificates qualifying them for the respective license classes.
In addition, applicants should have attended a Basic Driving Course offered by VETA or any other Government-recognized institution.
