JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Prepare lesson plans, teaching schemes, lesson notes, and work schedules, including any other duties assigned.
ii. Prepare and organize teaching and learning materials.
iii. Teach, assess, and maintain records of students’ academic progress.
iv. Supervise and monitor students’ attendance both in school and in the classroom.
v. Oversee students’ intellectual, physical, and spiritual development, and provide guidance, counseling, and mentorship.
vi. Provide professional and academic advice regarding educational development.
vii. Supervise the care and maintenance of school equipment and property.
viii. Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of School.
Qualifications Required for Employment:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed) or a Bachelor’s degree in a teaching subject (e.g., Biology), or a non-education degree with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, obtained from recognized higher education institutions approved by the Government

The first step is to visit the official website of the Ajira Portal at portal.ajira.go.tz. Once you are on the homepage, look for the “Create Account” button and tap it to begin the registration process.
Next, you will be required to enter your email address. It is important to use a valid and regularly checked email because all communication from the portal, including activation links and job notifications, will be sent there. After entering your email, create a secure password and re-enter it to verify. Make sure your password is strong but memorable, combining letters, numbers, and special characters for security purposes.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. All applicants must be Tanzanian citizens and not older than 45 years, except for those who are already employed in the Public Service.
2. Applicants with disabilities are highly encouraged to apply and should clearly indicate the nature of their disability in the Ajira Portal application system for the attention of the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS).
3. All applicants must attach a detailed Curriculum Vitae (C.V) containing reliable contact information such as postal address, phone numbers, and the names of three trustworthy referees.
4. All applicants must attach a certified copy of their birth certificate, verified by a Lawyer/Advocate.
5. Applicants who are currently employed in the Public Service should not apply and must adhere to the instructions provided in Circular No. CAC.45/257/01/D/140 dated 30th November 2010.
6. All applications must be accompanied by copies of academic and professional certificates, duly certified by a Lawyer/Advocate, including birth certificate, Form Four and Form Six certificates (for those who reached that level), as well as certificates of completion of relevant training, depending on the job qualifications such as Postgraduate, Degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma, or Certificate.
7. Form Four and Form Six examination certificates, Computer Certificates, and professional certificates from respective boards must be attached.
“Testimonials,” “Provisional Results,” “Statement of Results,” and Form IV and Form VI Result Slips will NOT be accepted.
8. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure that their certificates are verified and approved by the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTE).
9. Applicants who have retired from the Public Service are not allowed to apply unless they have permission from the Chief Secretary.
10. Submission of false information or forged qualifications will lead to legal action against the concerned individuals.
