The Employment Secretariat Portal through ajira.go.tz has announced job vacancies for professionals of Records Assistant, Driver Grade II, and Office Operator. A total of 14 positions at Musoma Dc. All applicants with qualifications are requested to send applications through portal.ajira.go.tz before 12 September 2025. The following are some of the positions and their responsibilities:

1. RECORDS ASSISTANT GRADE II
Job Responsibilities

  1. Registering incoming letters in the incoming correspondence register.

  2. Registering outgoing letters of the institution in the outgoing correspondence register.

  3. Distributing files to Action Officers.

  4. Receiving files from Action Officers.

  5. Receiving files returned to the Registry from Action Officers.

  6. Returning files to the rack/filling cabinets or other storage locations.

  7. Following up the circulation of files within the Institution (file tracking).

2. DRIVER GRADE II
Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Inspecting the vehicle before and after the trip to determine its safety condition.

  2. Driving staff to various areas on official trips.

  3. Performing minor vehicle repairs.

  4. Collecting and distributing various documents.

  5. Recording and keeping information of all trips in the logbook.

  6. Cleaning the vehicle.

  7. Performing other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

3. OFFICE OPERATOR GRADE II
Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Typing letters, reports, and both ordinary and confidential documents.

  2. Receiving visitors, listening to their concerns, and directing them where they can be assisted.

  3. Keeping information on records of events, appointments, meeting dates, official trips of the Supervisor, and other work schedules.

  4. Searching for files and documents required for the execution of duties.

  5. Receiving files and distributing them to Officers in the respective Department/Unit/Section.

  6. Collecting, keeping, and returning files and documents to the respective places.

  7. Preparing notes and making arrangements for various meetings.

  8. Preparing a list of office equipment requirements.

  9. Performing other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
