Standard Seven Results 2024 (NECTA PSLE) Officially Announced

Dar es Salaam, October 29, 2024 – The National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) has officially released the results of the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) 2024, which was conducted in September 2024 across Mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar.

Announcing the results, NECTA Executive Secretary, Dr. Said Mohamed, stated that a total of 1,230,774 candidates were registered for the examination. Among them:

1. Girls: 666,597 (54.16%)

1. Boys: 564,177 (45.84%)

1. Girls: 656,160 (98.43%)

1. Boys: 548,739 (97.26%)

Steps to Check Standard Seven Results (NECTA – PSLE)

1. Go to Google and search for NECTA.
2. From the search results, open the official NECTA website.
3. On the NECTA website, navigate to the “Results” section.
4. Select PSLE as the type of examination.
5. Choose the relevant year (e.g., 2024 or 2023).
6. Then select your region, district, and school to view the results.

For students with special needs, a total of 4,583 candidates (0.37% of all registered) sat for the examination.
